Services/Products

For products or processes in development, we design and execute quick, low-cost testing programs to generate proof-of-efficacy data. Often, a simple pot trial using a control and several options will keep us directed towards a solution.
We are actively testing various products, including insect products, natural plant derivatives, non-toxic amendments such as biochar, bio-surfactants, and other natural products in conjunction with nanobubble gas transformation technologies. These efforts focus on developing microbial processes to increase nutrient availability in plant-accessible forms, paving the way for more sustainable agricultural practices.
Some of our current/recent client or in-house research projects include:

analyzing insect products for use as a soil/plant amendment, including novel solid/aqueous application.

supporting the claim that nanobubbles (NB) can create hydroxyl radicals. Used methylene blue reduction and potential reaction agents.

measuring the impacts on soil and its microbial biomass using a quick and low-cost test kit. Adding nanobubble oxygen to soil vs. plain water uncovered a significant increase in microbial biomass as well as fungi %.

Identifying natural processes like nutrient mineralization, including the identification of extracellular enzymes, combined with NB O2, can drive periods of increased activity and mineralization.

using a new proprietary sensor for soil oxygen, bench tested the impacts of ambient air vs NB O2 irrigation water.

One groundbreaking technology we use is nanobubble gas transfer. Over the past decade, nanobubbles have been identified, measured, and proven to not only increase dissolved gases in liquids but also remain stable in solutions for extended periods, ranging from days to months.
Depending on the gas injected, nanobubbles can generate hydroxyl radicals, enhancing solid and liquid advanced oxidation processes while providing powerful disinfection properties.
Leveraging this innovative process, IngenuityWorx has developed a variety of solutions that are revolutionizing processes across numerous industries. We proudly collaborate with ChucaoTech, using their patented nanobubble injector system to tailor our products and processes to meet each client’s unique needs and goals.
Using actual field and client data, generated several fact sheets demonstrating the benefits of using air or oxygen NBs.

Alfalfa produced using NB O2, had a first-month increase in yield of 1.1 tons/acre, resulting in a $2070/acre increase for the year!

I have discovered that one of our most important gases, oxygen, has many more untapped benefits for our soil and water that we are just uncovering. My bench testing and other's confirming research is finding that we are not using the many forms of oxygen to their fullest benefit.

About Me
With over 45 years of experience, I specialize in the development and design of tools and processes within the engineering, environmental science, and agricultural soil markets.
My approach is rooted in biomimetic processes, leveraging human technology to apply solutions that nature has evolved over millennia. I find that the most effective technical solutions aggregate physics, chemistry, and biology, and I strive to integrate these sciences into every project. While I hold an Associate Degree in Civil Technology and spent over 30 years in hazardous waste site investigation and remediation, I also collaborate with a network of resources to complement my skills as needed.
Throughout my career, I have developed several innovative and profitable business ventures, including:
- Site Investigation: Developed cost- and time-effective investigative techniques, coupling direct push sampling with on-site mobile laboratory analysis.
- Groundwater Remediation: designed and utilized innovative oxygen gas transfer devices to bio stimulate petroleum and chlorinated solvent remediation.
- Contaminant Degradation: Designed and performed unique bench testing using site soil and groundwater coupled with propane gas infusion to degrade 1,4-Dioxane.
- Soil Analysis: Improved nutrient and microbial analysis platforms for amino acids and CO2 respiration, focusing on nutrient mineralization and microbial biomass.
- Agricultural Innovation: Developed bench testing processes and performed analysis for new soil amendments to improve crop yields.
